6-mo Checkup Results

So it turns out that Anthony is a little chunker. He weighed in at a healthy 19 lbs! No wonder my arm starts hurting after carting him around in the store for awhile. The pediatrician didn’t seem concerned about his weight so I guess I shouldn’t be either but I’m going to try to cut his food intake a little bit more and make him exercise to the limited extent that he can. Since he is now sitting up (mostly unassisted) he should stabilize his weight a bit. I know the jump in weight is from feeding him cereal and baby food, which we started at around 5 months.
His head circumference was 17 1/2 inches and he was in the 50th percentile for height so our little darling is doing great!
I actually thought ahead this time and gave him some Ibuprofen before we went to the doctor so he didn’t get that fever and major pain of the past visits. And he actually slept a little bit afterwards!
