Anthony & 8 Months

Nick and I had a bet going on what he would weigh and I guess I win even though we were both wrong. Nick thought he was around 25 lb and I was rooting for 22 lb. I’m glad to see that his little growth spurt has slowed down but I think it is due more to him moving more
than eating less because he LOVES to eat.
Other highlights from this past week:
- Started saying mama and is applying it properly. He’s figured out who dada and mama are!
- Ate veal last night and liked it.
- Still thinks running the dogs over with the walker is hysterical.
- Joins the dogs in chasing mommy while she is vacuuming. That one takes some fancy footwork on my part, let me tell you.
- Went to the park last night again and still likes the baby swings.
- Has started noticing the TV more and actually likes watching Disney and Noggin now. Don’t worry I limit his TV time!
- Can now move on to a forward facing car seat!! WHAT? You say?! Per the pediatrician if he weighs over 20 lb and/or is 1 years of age they can be turned around. I’m soo excited. I hate not being able to see him in the car, and now he won’t sweat to death so much since the a/c will hit him that much quicker in the back seat. Really the primary reason I want to turn him around is that he has outgrown his current infant car seat and his little tootsies are touching the back of the seat so I’m concerned if we were to get into an accident he could seriously hurt himself.
- Has re-discovered rasping and raspberries.
- Is becoming way more social and talking and laughing with a lot of different people not just mommy and daddy.
- Has the tip of his little tooth poking through his bottom gum.
