TUESDAY, April 17 (BabyCenter News) — Disney Stores North America is recalling about 200 of its Baby Einstein Caterpillar and Baby Einstein Duck Sleepwear pajamas in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The pajamas don’t meet flammability standards for children’s clothing, posing a burn risk for kids.
The recalled pajamas are footed and made of 100 percent cotton. They came in two styles: green with blue sleeves and a caterpillar design on the front, and yellow with orange sleeves and a duck design and “Quack! Quack!” printed on the front. The feet on the duck pajamas have duck beaks on them. “Baby Einstein” is printed on the back of the sleepwear, and “Disney Store” is printed on a tag inside. Only sleepwear in sizes 12 months and 18 months is included in this recall. Sleepwear sold in sizes 3, 6, and 9 months has not been recalled.
The pajamas were sold at Disney Stores nationwide from April 2006 through May 2006 for about $20. They were made in China.
