WEDNESDAY, April 18 (BabyCenter News) — Oeuf is recalling about 1,400 of its infant bouncer seats in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The seat’s metal frame can break, posing a fall risk for infants. Oeuf has received six reports of frames breaking, but no reports of injuries.
The recall involves Oeuf infant bouncer seats with padded canvas supported by a tubular steel frame. The canvas seat is brown with white, blue, or pink stripes. A three-point safety belt is attached to the canvas. Model number 2005 is printed on the label.
The bouncer seats were sold at children’s specialty stores nationwide and online from September 2006 through March 2007 for about $100. They were made in China.
Oeuf bouncer seats are currently sold in the BabyCenter Store, but these models are not included in the recall.
