I’m trying to cut corners where I can, like all people these days I suppose, and am really getting into the CVS concept. I like the thought of getting stuff I use (or can donate) for little to no cost with just some smart shopping involved. Since my *only* job is to be a SAHM (total tongue in cheek here *only* LOL) I figure I can contribute to my household by being a better shopper.
I try to use coupons and shop BJs when I can, and of course use the local grocery store sales for loss-leaders so this is the next step in my continued quest.
One of my main concerns? Where to store all the loot once it starts accruing. I’ve seen some of these people’s stashes (pics only from the web) and frankly a little scared! I don’t have stairs to store stuff under and no basement. Living in FL, I don’t think putting stuff in an un-airconditioned garage would make it last very long. And the builder that built our house was obviously a man since there is hardly any storage – minimal closets, etc.
